    Steven G.
  • “This is such a good “thinking of you” gift, it feels way more intentional than sending a text”
    Alex U.

    Patrick E.

Kids' thank-you notes after Christmas and birthdays

The thank-you note is the part of the holidays that drags into February. A postcard turns it into a five-minute job.

Take a photo of your kid with the gift: wearing it, riding it, or covered in its glitter.

Let them say the back out loud while you type it. Then they pick the font and the stickers.

The person who sent the gift gets to see it in use, which is the whole point of saying thanks.

Photo thank you postcards: the photo does the thanking

A thank-you note says the gift arrived. A photo shows what happened to it next.

The scarf on the sledding hill. The helmet worn to breakfast. The board book with one corner chewed off.

Up to four photos fit on the front, so one card can cover every gift from the same grandparents.

Thank a host, a teacher or a neighbor

A thank-you card works when the photo shows the thing they did for you.

  • A host: a photo from the dinner, and the dish you're still thinking about.
  • A teacher: the project they helped with, and one line from your kid.
  • A neighbor: the dog your kid walked, the tomatoes they shared, the snow they shoveled.
  • Grandparents: the gift in use, with every kid's name on the back.

How to send thank you postcards

One order holds up to ten cards, each to its own US address, and each card can carry its own note.

That suits a handful of thank-yous. For a wedding list or a business mailing, a print shop is the better fit.

Thanking one person for one thing? See postcards personalized for one person. After a party, try birthday postcards with their photo next year.

  1. Add up to four photos of the gift, the dinner or the favor.
  2. Write one note for everyone, or a different note for each person.
  3. Check out, then add each address.
  4. We print, stamp and mail every card.

What to write on a thank you card

Name the gift, say how it's being used, and sign it. Borrow one:

  • Thank you for the sweater, Grandma! I have worn it four days in a row.
  • Thank you for Saturday. Still thinking about that risotto.
  • Thank you for helping with the volcano. It erupted on time.
  • Thank you for watching Biscuit. He wants to know when you're going away again.

Thank-you card questions

What do you write on a thank you postcard?

Name the gift or the favor, say one thing about how it's being used, and sign it. Two short lines and a photo say more than a paragraph.

Can my kids send thank-you notes this way?

Yes. They pick the photos, say the message while you type it, and choose a font and stickers. We print each 4x6 card and mail it to the grandparents, the aunt or the teacher.

Can I order thank you postcards for a wedding or a business?

Probably not. Each order holds 1 to 10 cards, so we suit a handful of thank-yous, not a guest list of 150. A print shop is the better fit for bulk.

Can each thank-you card go to a different address?

Yes. After you pay, you add an address for each card. Each one can go to a different US address, and each can carry its own note.

How long do thank-you cards take to arrive?

Most arrive in 5 to 10 business days: printed within 1 to 2 business days, then USPS First-Class Mail. We can't guarantee a delivery date.

How much are thank you postcards?

$9.99 for one card, $24.99 for three and $59.99 for ten. Printing and postage are included, with free shipping on every order.
