Custom graduation cards with their photos

Graduation photo cards work well as a then and now: a first-day-of-school picture beside the cap and gown.

See every layout for custom photo postcards before you start.

  • High school graduation cards: a senior photo, plus one from kindergarten.
  • College graduation cards: move-in day next to the diploma.

What to write in a congratulations graduation card

Use their name, say one thing you're proud of, and sign it. Copy a line if it helps:

  • Congratulations, Maya. We saw every late night. This diploma is all yours.
  • From your first backpack to this. So proud of you, kiddo.
  • You did it. Now go do the next thing, and call home sometimes.
  • Proud doesn't cover it. Congratulations, graduate.
  • Whatever comes next, your home team is still cheering.
  • Grandpa and I couldn't be prouder of you, sweetheart.
  • First in the family with a degree. Frame this next to it.

Announcements, grandkids and finals week

Mailing 50 graduation announcements? That's a print shop job. We make the card you send back to say congratulations.

Making a graduation card for grandson or granddaughter? Their birthday cards are here too: birthday card for your grandson or birthday card for your granddaughter.

Finals still ahead? Send encouragement cards before the exams first.

Graduation card questions

What do you write in a graduation card?

Congratulate them by name, name one thing you watched them work for, and look ahead. Two or three sentences fit well on the back of a 4x6 card.

How much money is appropriate for a graduation card?

That's between you and your budget. A postcard has no envelope, so it can't carry cash or a check: send the money another way and let the card carry the words.

Where can I get graduation cards printed?

Right here. Make it in the builder on this page and we print a 4x6 glossy photo postcard and mail it: $9.99 for one, with free shipping on every order.

Should you send a card when you get a graduation announcement?

Yes. Etiquette guides agree a congratulations card is always welcome, with a gift or without one. It's the card this page makes.

When should you send a graduation card?

Near the ceremony, or within a few weeks after. To reach them by the day, order about 15 days ahead; we can't guarantee a delivery date.

What is a short sweet message for graduation?

"So proud of you. Congratulations, graduate." Add their name and sign it from everyone at home.
